2025 Best of Queensland Experience results reflect consumer tick of excellence
62 tourism operators across the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton have once again proven their commitment to excellence, with the release of the 2025 Best of Queensland Experiences Program (BOQEP) results showcasing a year of strong growth and outstanding achievements.
Tourism and Events Queensland has launched its new brand platform, That Holiday Feeling. It celebrates the state’s iconic experiences while uncovering deeper destination stories to inspire repeat domestic travel and attract first-time international visitors. Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre volunteer Illona Higgins proudly represented our destination at the 2025 Sydney Caravan and Camping Show, which welcomed over 43,000 attendees across six days (April 29 – May 4).
The event was a vibrant showcase of Australia’s favourite touring regions, with the Capricorn Coast region drawing interest from visitors seeking coastal adventures and laid-back holiday options.
